Airjet Lifting

Airjet lifting, also known as pneumatic conveying, is a process used to transport bulk materials through a pipeline using air or another gas as the transport medium. The procedure begins by introducing the material into a feed point, typically using a hopper or feeder. From here, the material is metered into a pipeline where a stream of high-velocity air is introduced. The air stream carries the material through the pipeline to its destination. The velocity and pressure of the air are carefully controlled to ensure that the material is transported efficiently and without damage. This is usually achieved by using blowers or compressors to generate the required airflow.

Upon reaching the destination, the material is separated from the air stream, typically using a cyclone separator or a filter receiver. The separator uses centrifugal forces or filters to remove the material from the air stream, allowing the material to be collected and directed into storage silos, bins, or directly into a process line for further handling. The air is then expelled or recirculated back into the system, depending on the specific requirements of the operation. Throughout the process, sensors and control systems monitor the flow rate, pressure, and material loading to maintain optimal performance and prevent system blockages or damage to the conveyed material.
