Sofwave Lifting
Description
Sofwave Lifting is a non-invasive ultrasound treatment designed to improve mild to moderate skin laxity and support a firmer, more refreshed appearance. The procedure uses Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam technology to deliver controlled ultrasound energy to the mid-dermis, typically around 1.5 mm beneath the skinâs surface. This gentle thermal stimulation encourages the bodyâs natural collagen-production process without needles, incisions, or significant damage to the skinâs outer layer. It is commonly performed on areas such as the forehead, brows, cheeks, jawline, neck, and under-chin region. During a Sofwave session, a clinician applies ultrasound gel and moves the handpiece across the treatment area. Most appointments take approximately 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. Patients may feel warmth or brief pulses of energy, and a topical numbing cream may be used to improve comfort. Mild redness or tenderness can occur temporarily, but downtime is generally minimal, allowing many patients to return to daily activities shortly after treatment. Collagen remodeling develops gradually, with results typically becoming more noticeable over the following weeks to months.
