Overview
After completing my residency at Seoul National University Hospital in 2002, I became a board-certified plastic surgeon and have performed cosmetic surgeries in many areas. I have grown to this point through the experience and feedback from treating numerous patients. For 22 years, as the head of a large hospital, I have thought a lot. Of course, there are many advantages to a well-established system in a large hospital, but there has always been a longing in my heart for the lack of time to focus on the most important surgeries, especially for personalized consultations for each patient. The patient who undergoes surgery visits the hospital dreaming of a second life through change and lies down on the operating table filled with anxiety and worry. In the meantime, the hospital has been too busy and blunt to take meticulous care of such feelings. Each individual undergoing surgery as a patient has one in eight billion different genes, a unique face, and a different heart. Just as there are no identical faces, a mechanical, cookie-cutter approach can hardly bring out the best in one's unique features. I have started a new clinic with the intention of performing precise analysis and corresponding surgeries and procedures for each patient in the coziest space and the slow passage of time, with every detail handled by the hands of a single expert from start to finish. Even until now, I have recommended surgeries and procedures that would be good for my own family to patients, but I will perform even more thoroughly verified and safe surgeries and procedures, and uphold a higher level of responsibility as a doctor, as well as the principles and philosophy of conscience and respect for humanity. Plastic surgeons are not doctors who treat illnesses, so the thank-you messages we receive from patients after surgery are different. The best thank-you message is simply 'I like it.' I will work hard to be someone who earns your satisfaction.
