Opening Up About a Sensitive Choice
Talking about penis enlargement on camera isn’t something most people feel comfortable doing. For me, though, it felt worth it. I’m Junseok Choi, 28, and I work at an advertising agency in Sejong City. I’m not the type who worries too much about being recognized, and honestly, if people do recognize me, I’d rather think of it as something to be thankful for.

I decided to share my experience because I know how long people can sit on the fence, quietly stressing about something that feels too awkward to bring up. I spent years doing exactly that. And once I finally went through with surgery, I realized how much the decision had been weighing on my confidence and everyday life.

What I Actually Had Done: The FIBER Procedure (With One Part Left Out)
At Yezak Urology in Seoul, I signed up for the FIBER procedure. The plan originally included multiple components, but I specifically asked to leave out the premature ejaculation part. In the end, I did the other four options.

I’m careful about describing it because I don’t want to sound like I work at the hospital. The truth is I just studied a lot before doing anything. I watched and read as much as I could to understand what was considered good, what my options were, and what might make sense for me.
Why I Wanted Penis Enlargement Surgery in the First Place
The simplest answer is that I lacked confidence in every way. I’d been thinking about doing something since I was younger—since around my early 20s—but surgery is surgery, and the cost isn’t small either. For a long time, that combination made it hard to decide.
As I got a bit older and reached a point where I could cover the cost myself, I finally felt like I could make the choice on my own terms.
In terms of what I wanted to improve, I wasn’t satisfied with either length or girth, but girth was the biggest issue for me. It wasn’t only about appearance. There were practical, real-life inconveniences that made me feel stressed and self-conscious. During sex, for example, there were times when the condom would slip off. That was a moment where I thought, very clearly, “I really need to do something about this.” It stressed me out a lot.
Why I Chose the Allogeneic Method (And What I Heard About Safety)
One of the hardest parts of making a decision was realizing how little reliable information was out there. Even if you search online or on YouTube, it’s not like you’ll find someone clearly saying, “Allogeneic is better,” or “Autologous is better,” with enough credibility to feel confident.
When I consulted at the clinic, I was told that the difference probably wouldn’t be huge. But I also heard that the U.S.-made material was considered a bit safer and better, and that pushed me toward the allogeneic option.
My Experience on Surgery Day: Local Anesthesia and a Familiar Feeling
Pain was one of the big things I worried about, but I tried to stay realistic. Honestly, at first, it felt a lot like getting circumcised. The overall process felt similar too.
There was no sedation—you just do it. When they did the local anesthesia, it didn’t hurt that much. Before they wrapped everything up with the bandage, they showed me how it looked. Seeing it before the bandage made it feel more real, like, “Okay, I’ve actually done this.” Then they bandaged it and I went downstairs.
They prescribed a lot of medication. Before I took it, I could already feel the pain starting to creep in, like what happens when anesthesia wears off after circumcision.
Getting Back to Normal Life: Driving Home and the Pain Later
One detail that still surprises people is that I drove there myself—and I drove back down to Sejong City afterward.
At the time, it didn’t hurt that much, so driving felt possible. But later, when the anesthesia fully wore off, it was a different story. The worst pain for me was when I was asleep—because men get erections in their sleep. That was when it hurt a lot.
Even so, I got through it, and with the medication, I focused on recovering step by step.
Results and Changes: Girth, Shape, and What My Girlfriend Noticed
When it comes to results, the first thing I noticed was that I felt like I got the girth I wanted—at least from my own perspective. I was also satisfied with the overall shape.
And then there’s the part that feels the most validating, even if it’s hard to talk about openly: the first time we had sex afterward, my girlfriend said, “Wow, it’s changed a lot.” She also said, “It’s definitely different.”
I can’t read her mind, so I don’t know if she was just being nice or if she really meant it. But the same kind of reaction came from other people too.
Showing Friends (Yes, Really) and Seeing Their Reactions
This might sound unbelievable, but I actually showed it to a lot of my friends. They were curious, and since none of them knew anyone who had done it, it became this strange moment of, “So what is it actually like?”
Their reactions were consistent. They said things like, “Wow, you’re totally different from before.” And seeing that made a lot of them seriously consider it. There were so many who went, “Should I do it too?”
It wasn’t about showing off—it was more that I finally felt like I had an answer to something I’d worried about privately for years.
Confidence After Surgery: Everyday Convenience and Small Moments
If I had to describe what changed beyond sex, I’d say daily life felt easier. The things that used to feel inconvenient—for me personally—improved. The sexual issues that bothered me improved too.
Confidence was a big difference. I noticed it in places I didn’t even expect, like when I go to the bathhouse. Especially when I go with friends, I can clearly see how I’ve changed. That might sound small, but it mattered to me.
Satisfaction Score: Happy, But Not Exactly What I Imagined
If someone asked me to rate my satisfaction, I wouldn’t say it’s a 9 out of 10.
I’m really glad I did it. A lot of the stress and inconveniences improved, and my confidence went up. But at the same time, it wasn’t exactly what I imagined in my head. I had a picture of the outcome, and reality doesn’t always match the image perfectly.
Still, considering where I started—my own baseline—I’m satisfied enough that I don’t regret it at all.
Why I’m Considering Another Procedure: Absorption and Wanting a Bit More
I came back because there’s another procedure I’m interested in.
Since I had dermis inserted, some of it gets absorbed. It hasn’t even been a year yet, but compared to after the initial swelling went down, it does feel like it’s gone down a bit more.
Also, even though it’s not permanent anyway, I think it’s similar to how some women feel after breast surgery—some people want to go bigger. For me, it’s not like, “It went down a lot so I need more.” It’s more that I’ve gotten used to it now, so I want to go a little bigger.
At the clinic, additional enlargement using dermal powder was recommended. The basic idea, as it was explained, is that allogeneic dermis is made into a powder, mixed with water, and then volume is added along the shaft.
What I’d Tell Anyone Debating Penis Enlargement Surgery in Korea
I worried about this from when I was 20, and looking back, I don’t think you can just keep worrying forever.
If you feel like you have an issue and you want to be bigger, I recommend coming in and getting a consultation first. In my case, I didn’t even book a separate surgery date after the consult. I asked, “Do you have any time available for surgery today?” and I just did it that day.
I know people worry about side effects or that it could turn out badly later on. But these days, techniques have improved a lot. I was told it wouldn’t be a big problem, and that gave me the confidence to decide.
So if you’re on the fence, I really think it’s totally fine to start with a consultation. And if you look at before-and-after photos, you might find yourself wanting it more—and that can actually help you decide faster.
Closing Thoughts: No Regrets, Just Moving Forward
For me, this wasn’t a quick or casual decision. It was something I carried for years—quietly, and with a lot of stress. After going through the FIBER procedure at Yezak Urology, I can say that many of the issues that bothered me improved, my confidence rose, and I’m glad I did it.
Even if it wasn’t a “perfect 9 out of 10” in my mind, it was a meaningful change in my life. And now that I’ve experienced what’s possible, I understand myself better—what I wanted, what changed, and why taking that first step (even if it’s just a consultation) can matter so much.
